Dance Legend Sahara Crystal - Amethyst

Another fabulous purple for 2014 is from Dance Legend.  This one is called "Amethyst", from their Sahara Crystal collection and it's a dark purple with red micro glitters, which shine really nicely in the sun!  The formula was a bit thick to work with, but you can get good coverage in 2 coats, though maximum wear time was about 2-3 days.  Photos below are without top coat and with indoor lighting.

P2 Sand Style - Lovely

Here's another P2 sand style polish, which I bought at DM (Drogerie Markt in Germany).

It's called "080 lovely" and it is a deep purple with silver glitters of all sorts!  There is also a slight blue tint to it in the shade, which you'll see below.  Since the "color of the year" for 2014 is purple/orchid, this would be a perfect sand polish for any season throughout this year.

I now own all of the p2 sand style colors and I hope they keep coming out with more!  Like all sand polishes out there, it's best to wear it without top coat for maximum gritty effect, which  means the wear time is about 3-4 days with minor chipping.  Hope you go out and get some purples for 2014!

One Last Summer Manicure!

I figured I'd take advantage of the last summer days and do one, last, fun summer manicure.

I used 2 coats of p2 Volume Gloss gel look polish "Fresh Sister", a light, almost pastel green jelly, and Essence "better than gel nails top sealer" top coat.

For a fun highlight nail, I used Lush Lacquer's Neon Freckles top coat.  This polish is full of colored glitter and really easy to apply.

If any of you are wondering why my fingers look so shiny, it's because I use LUSH "Lemony Flutter" cuticle cream/butter right after every manicure :)  You can also buy it here in Luxembourg - LUSH DOIGTS DE FÉE - for about 11 EUR.  I highly recommend it!

p2 Sand Style Polish - old and new!

Today I have some textured p2 nail polish for you.  One is from their existing collection and another is a newly released color.  Check out the whole range of p2 Sand Style, they have a lot of fun colors for a very affordable price! They can be purchased at your local Drogerie Markt (Germany).

Adorable is their light pink sand textured polish.  It is full of silver glitter.  I used 2 coats in the photos below, no top coat, and it lasted about 3 days without major chipping.

p2 recently released 5 new colors, one of which is below.  Pretty is a peach/beige sand textured polish full of silver glitter.  It's a great fall/winter color.  I used 2 coats below, without top coat, and it lasted about 3 days as well.

Overall, I really like p2 nail polish and their Sand Style collection doesn't disappoint!  Pretty is definitely one of my new favorite textured nailpolishes - just look at all the glitter and shine - puts you in the Christmas/Holiday spirit.

Dance Legend from Russia

Hi everyone!

A friend of mine just brought me back some fun nail polish from a Russian brand called Dance Legend.
They ship internationally and have a lot of fun colors!  I have two to show you today, one from their Fruity Milk collection and another from their Sahara collection.

Below is 945 Blueberry Smoothie - a light pastel purple jelly base packed with silver and blue glitter.
I used 2 coats for the photos plus a topcoat and this mani lasted a solid 5 days without major chipping.

Next, from their "sand" style collection called Sahara Crystal, is 02 Harbor - a pastel peach/nude textured polish packed with gold micro-glitters.  I used 2 coats for the photos and no top coat, so this mani lasted 3 days without chipping.

Summer Holiday Nails

Hi everyone!  Finally, here is my first official post :)

I was looking for a fun way to do my nails/toes for a recent trip I took.  I knew it would be sunny and we'd be at the beach, so I wanted a bright, fun, colorful manicure and pedicure.

For my hands, I chose p2 Cosmetic's "Lovely Moment" (a very light pastel pink) topped with Lush Lacquer's Neon Chicks Rule top coat.  I used 2 coats of Lovely Moment and 2 coats of the top coat.  I loved how fun this came out and it definitely made me feel like I was on vacation the entire time I had it on.

For my feet, I decided to go with p2 Cosmetic's "Flirt alert" (a bright coral/pink), topped with p2 Cosmetic's "glamorous finish" Holo top coat.  As a fun finishing touch, I added a bow decal from Essence.
